Commtech, Xerox & Great West Life present: BASA BUZZ

Have you ever walked into a networking event and felt frustrated that all the business professionals seem to already be talking to someone else? Lucky for you, BASA is hosting BASA BUZZ on February 6 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm in Convocation Hall (Third floor of Wesley Hall).

This half-day conference is a chance for students to have a one-on-one learning opportunity with professionals in the business community. BASA BUZZ is structured to have one partner at a table with approximately six students. This allows you the opportunity to ask individual questions to a professional in a relaxed setting. Each table will have one BASA representative who will introduce the partner and company to students and ensure the conversation is flowing. Students will switch tables 3-5 times throughout the course of the event to allow an opportunity to gain different expertise from knowledgeable professionals.

BASA BUZZ allows the mentors to meet numerous future business professionals and help students with any questions they may have. Better yet, this allows students and mentors to build key relationships that can be carried on after the event. A lunch will take place after the event in order to allow for more informal networking opportunities. BASA BUZZ is a key opportunity to help build network connections that can one day lead to you being a mentor yourself!
